ALICE Training (Basic and Workshop)

08.09.25 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Join us for important ALICE training.

Two years ago, we began introducing the five major strategies of the ALICE program to the students. Ultimately, we would like all of our students to have opportunities to practice these strategies as well. For our alumni, perhaps you graduated from CCS before our adoption of ALICE. Or perhaps you received the explanations of the strategies but have not had the opportunity to go through a workshop to practice them in a safe, controlled environment. We invite you to join us on August 9 to go through the full ALICE program. This will consist of an ALICE Basic training, as well as a chance to participate in an ALICE Workshop where you can put your knowledge into practice. The sessions are free and are being offered exclusively to those who are CCS alumni. Lunch is available afterwards as well (just sign up for a ticket).

——————————————-

ALICE is a proactive, options-based plan for civilian response to a Violent Critical Incident. ALICE authorizes and empowers individuals to utilize human action, building infrastructure, and communication options to increase their chances of survival.

ALICE Basic training answers the “Why” participants need this training, and to ensure a basic understanding of the concepts and strategies that will be reinforced by ALICE workshops.

ALICE Workshops are for those who have previously attended ALICE Basic training. ALICE Workshop is hands-on and interactive. You will be expected to actively participate in the workshop, and put into practice, the concepts learned in the ALICE Basic training.

The mission is simple: SAVE MORE LIVES!

NOTES:

  • Because of the nature and sensitive topic of this training, we ask that attendees be 10 years old or older.
  • Room location: Multipurpose Room
